February 6, 2015 – officially blogging for 3½ years today!

I’m not sure if all of the time counts as I haven’t been actively blogging for some time… maybe I should say the blog has officially been active for 3½ years 😛

So, we closed out 2014 with a cruise in December with Nana and Grandpa – five nights on Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas – followed by a short visit to Walt Disney World (one day at Magic Kingdom and one day shopping at Downtown Disney).

Nana and Grandpa came down to The Cities for Christmas and then Mema and PawPaw came up from Denver to spend New Year’s with us! It was a busy couple of weeks with a house full of people – exactly what the holidays should be!

In early January, Hubby and I headed off to New York City for a couple of nights. I had to go out there for work, and it worked out for Hubby to come along. We spent one night visiting Manhattan and then drove up to York, Maine, the second night. Neither of us had been to Maine before! We had a great dinner – lobster mac and cheese and prime rib – right on the coast just after sunset!

At the end of January, I was traveling again – this time with Jay Pea down to Florida and out on the open sea again on Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas. We were supposed to spend a day at Coco Cay and a day at Nassau, but, by a strange turn of events and weather, we ended up spending two days in Nassau. We took advantage of our time and ventured out to the pirate museum which turned out to be well worth the short walk and the money.

So happy to be in the warm sunshine!

This spring promises to be a busy one with lots of changes at work and more travel in the near future… I can say without hesitation that it is never boring around here!
