2014 – Day 5 – January 5

Tonight’s dinner was the Sunday regular – frozen pizza.  I’m not sure what brand it was; we typically buy what is on sale.  We had pepperoni and pepperoni and sausage tonight.  We also had leftover buffalo chicken dip (thanks again, Jay Pea!).  We ate the in TV room watching the end of the recorded football game and then the last two episodes of Once Upon a Time from last season.

Our morning started off with church; we were late getting there as I washed K-Cat’s and my coats yesterday and forgot to put them in the dryer before going to bed.  Thankfully, Hubby remember them this morning and moved them to the dryer around 8 a.m.  By 9 a.m. they were finally dry and we headed out.  Loo Hoo and I stayed after church for a meeting about her summer trip to Israel.  She is taking a Foundations class all year that ends with a trip to Israel for 10 days in July.  It was fun to think about warmer weather and to hear detailed plans for the trip.

We stopped at Burger King on the way home for a chicken sandwich and a Big King (supposedly like a Big Mac, but I don’t think it compared at all!).  Hubby and the younger girls ate lunch on their way home earlier, and Hubby was well into his Sunday afternoon nap when we got home.  Loo Hoo and I spent the afternoon finishing organizing the 2013 pictures.  I think I’m ready to begin selecting pictures for the yearbook, but it will have to wait as I have a busy work week ahead!

The goal now for the rest of tonight?  Stay warm!  It’s down to -16 outside and the wind chills are around -40…  we have regular bedtimes and a normal routine again for a few days if we can withstand the cold; praise God for a furnace that works!
